Diptyque Rosaviola candle Valentine’s Day edition 2016. One of my most prized possessions, it’s been sitting in its box for 8 years, never opened. Adorned in a beautiful pink box and a frosted pink receptacle, this pairs rose and violet and is an utterly feminine, romantic scent. As I mentioned in my Rosamundi listing, selling this was never supposed to be an option, but these are indeed hard times. I lit it for the first time last night so I could at least experience it once, and let it burn for 90 minutes wrapped in foil so as to prevent a memory ring. The throw is excellent…I can still detect the scent even as it sits unlit in the room adjacent to where I am writing this. Lovely & special…just a gorgeous, elegant little thing to keep, along with the box, long after the candle’s been burned. Please do note: upon purchasing this candle, I used a straight razor blade to remove the “lips” from the canvas label on the face of the candle jar. I just thought they were a little silly, & that it looked better without. You can see a slight hint of where they used to be; the final two stock photos show you how the candle originally looked.
