Diptyque Rosamundi candle from Valentine’s Day 2017. A prized possession of mine, purchased from London, it’s still in its original cellophane wrap, never opened. Adorned in a beautiful green floral wallpaper motif designed by Antoinette Poisson, the candle itself is a pairing of two exquisite roses; damascena (damask rose) and centifolia. Currant and bergamot provide freshness, followed by hints of lychee and geranium. Of course, I’ve never actually experienced the scent; it’s one of those things that I found out about after the fact & went on a years-long hunt to find…deeply treasured, I’ve been waiting for a very special day to light it. Based on reviews, along with my own experience of diptyque’s candles, I know it will be nothing short of incredible. Truly lovely box as well, and a gorgeous container to keep long after the candle’s been burned.
